Evolutionary Game Analysis of Carbon Emission Reduction between Government and Enterprises under Carbon Quota Trading Policy

As one of the most efficient means of emission reduction policies, carbon quota trading has a far-reaching impact on the carbon emission reduction of enterprises. Firstly, a two-party evolutionary game model of enterprise and government and a three-party evolutionary game model of enterprise–enterprise–government are constructed based on the multi-agent driving mechanism, evolutionary game theory, scenario simulation, and other methods. Then, we conduct a series of policy simulations for carbon emission under different scenario models and various enforcement strengths. Lastly, the behavioral strategies and system evolution trajectories in enterprises and government carbon trading are comprehensively investigated. The results show that in the two-party and three-party evolutionary game models, the carbon trading behavior is affected by the joint action of the enterprise and the government. The difference in initial willingness mainly affects the speed of the subject’s convergence to the steady state. Based on this, policy suggestions are proposed, such as reducing the cost of carbon emission of enterprises, enhancing the vitality of carbon emission reduction of enterprises, and stimulating the power of government regulation and responsibility performance, which can provide suggestions for the development of the carbon market.

Evolutionary Game Theory and the Simulation of Green Building Development Based on Dynamic Government Subsidies

The carbon emissions of the construction industry pose a significant challenge to implementing China’s carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals. This study considered how to promote stable green building (GB) development. First, evolutionary game theory (EGT) was applied to examine the interaction mechanism of complex behaviors between governments and developers, constructing two scenarios of static and dynamic subsidies. Second, we proposed the ideal state where the government does not give funding subsidies and developers take the initiative to build GBs. On this basis, the simulation method was used to verify the game models and primary conclusions. Finally, a detailed sensitivity analysis of selected parameters was undertaken. The results demonstrated that subsidy policy phase-outs could help in the development of GBs; the probability of an ideal state was positively correlated with government supervision and punishment, and it was negatively correlated with government funding subsidies. The research results can be used as a reference for the government to improve incentive measures and decision support for stakeholders to adjust their strategies.

Titik sentral antara pariwisata dengan pembangunan berkelanjutan adalah ekowisata. Ekowisata dianggap sebagai salah satu model ideal untuk mencapai keberlanjutan. Evaluasi pembangunan ekowisata sangat penting dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk memastikan praktik ekowisata di banyak tempat telah sesuai dengan konsep yang berlaku. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan kembali indikator yang penting dalam mengevaluasi pembangunan ekowisata secara holistik. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan systematic literature review dengan menggunakan saran pelaporan PRISMA. Penulis mencari artikel ilmiah pada database online Elsevier (Scopus) yang berbahasa inggris dan dapat diakses secara penuh. Penelitian ini mengkaji 10 artikel dengan menggunakan systematic literature review. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penelitian terkait mayoritas diterbitkan pada tahun 2020-2022, tiga artikel diantaranya diterbitkan di India. Dimensi yang mempengaruhi evaluasi pembangunan ekowisata adalah dimensi sosial, ekonomi, lingkungan, dan manajemen kelembagaan. Terdapat 22 indikator dari dimensi-dimensi tersebut yang ditawarkan sebagai acuan dalam melakukan evaluasi pembangunan ekowisata.
