Abstract:This paper elucidates approaches to collaborative autoethnography (CAE) drawing on two female academics' experiences, who live in Ireland. As Ellis et al., (2011) state, autoethnography 'seeks to describe and systematically analyse personal experience to understand cultural experience'.
