Questions about the origin of life on Earth and whether life exists on other planets are controversial. Evolution is a complex process, and in this research, it is postulated that consciousness plays an essential role in the evolution of life on Earth and on any planet with life. In TemFrame, the seeds of life are consciousness and stardust/cosmic dust, both of which find their way into a planet such as Earth from dying stars in space. In the Temic approach, the evolution of life on Earth (or possibly other planets) can occur from either astrobiogenesis, the process where life evolves on a planet from the contents of a dying star, or biosynthesis, the process of synthesizing a complex system that holds life (i.e., a living organism) from organic and inorganic matter. Apart from variation, inheritance, and natural selection mechanisms, evolution is also driven by the natural force of consciousness. In TemFrame, the origin of life or living organisms on any planet is stars in the region where the planet’s solar system travels through.
