“…The study resulted in the increasing prevalence of obsessive thoughts mainly among nurses who are caring for COVID-19 cases. This finding is also supported by Zareie (2020) who have urged the need for action in preventing the development of obsessive compulsive disorder among healthcare workers fighting at the frontline of the pandemic.
