Abstract:Over the past few decades, researchers have become interested in natural compounds and
their potential to prevent and treat diseases. Thymol, carvacrol, and phenolic monoterpenoids are
compounds quickly absorbed into the bloodstream through the gastrointestinal tract. Studies conducted
in vitro and in vivo have shown that both thymol and carvacrol have anti-inflammatory, antioxidant,
