“…The fluorescence decay of GOS:Tb, F was recorded with an ultra-fast lifetime Spectrofluorometer (DeltaFlex, Paris, France). The cold neutron tests [ 12 ] were carried out at the China Mianyang Research Reactor (CMRR). The conditions for the cold neutron source were as follows: the flux was about 5·10 6 n/s/cm 2 , and the neutron wavelength was about 0.28 nm [ 39 ].…”

“…The spatial resolutions were 2.5 mm and 1.5 mm for the SIT and CCD camera methods, respectively, while the resolution was 1 mm when using an imaging plate. Bin [ 12 ] and Huo [ 13 ] reported the performance of the cold neutron radiography beamline, in which a spatial resolution of about 20 μm was obtained when utilizing a Tb-doped Gd 2 O 2 S (GOS) screen with a thickness of 10 μm. Jiang [ 14 ] developed a detector prototype; the resolution of the GOS scintillation can be evaluated using neutron beam tests, and a spatial resolution of 36 μm (28 lp/mm) could be measured.…”

“…There are eight neutron scattering facilities at the CMRR: four of them take advantages of thermal neutrons and are in the reactor hall, e.g., High Resolution Neutron Diffractometer, Residual Stress Neutron Diffractometer [11], Thermal Neutron Radiography, and High Pressure Neutron Diffractometer, while other four take advantages of cold neutrons and are in the cold neutron scattering hall, e.g., Cold-neutron Triple Axis Spectrometer, Cold Neutron Radiography [12], Small Angle Neutron Spectrometer [13,14] and Time-of-flight Polarized Neutron Reflectometer [15]. The layout of all the neutron scattering facilities [15] is shown in figure 1.…”

“…1 High resolution neutron diffractometer (HRND) Xuanwu, 2 residual stress neutron diffractometer (RSND) Qilin, 3 thermal neutron radiography station (TNR), 4 and high-pressure neutron diffractometer (HPND) Fenghuang, 5 are installed in the reactor hall. Small-angle neutron scattering (SANS) Suanni, [6][7][8] time-of-flight and polarized neutron reflectometer (TPNR) Diting, 9 cold neutron triple-axis spectrometer (CTAS) Kunpeng, 10 and cold neutron radiography facility (CNRF) 11 are installed in the cold neutron scattering hall. Moreover, some spectrometers are under construction, such as ultra-small-angle neutron scattering (USANS), spin echo spectrometers, 12 thermal neutron triple-axis spectrometer, polarized SANS (PSANS), and so on.…”
