“…But 53% (question 11) also said that they think that the ''skill'' of dissection could have strengthened their knowledge of anatomy. Whether dissection is advantageous to the learning of anatomy is debatable (Moore, 1998;Aziz et al, 2002;Wong and Tay, 2005;Ganguly and Sanii, 2006), but it seems that some students are still interested in dissection. We are, however, of the opinion that the use of plastinated prosected specimens, radiological materials, and live subjects can allow students to learn anatomy in the most relevant way since it allows them to have a firm grasp of the 3D nature of human anatomy, to relate anatomy to radiological imaging, and to relate anatomy to clinical studies.…”
