Abstract:Cyanobacteria, ubiquitous phototrophic prokaryotes, can enhance soil fertility and crop productivity by promoting biological nitrogen fixation, phosphate dissolution, and mineral release. In this study, five nitrogen-fixing cyanobacteria were isolated and purified from paddy soil in Jilin Province.
