Abstract:The noise characteristics of MgZnO/ZnO quantum cascade detectors (QCDs) under dark stationary conditions are investigated by the dark noise model, which includes all the possible bound-to-bound intersubband transitions. The band structure is numerically calculated considering the built-in electric field induced by polarization. Results show that the noise dark current density, derived by the Nyquist theorem, increases with increasing temperature, but the noise curves are gradually stabilized with increasing vo… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
