The non-healing leg ulcer: A logical approach

Abstract: A woman, aged 75 years, presented with recurrent lower limb ulcers spanning three decades and bilateral lower limb swelling (Figure 1). Past medical history included deep vein thrombosis (DVT), type 2 diabetes, hypothyroidism, obesity, chronic back pain, osteoarthritis and depression.
