Abstract:The Norwegian Thyroid Cancer Project was established in 1985. Its crew has consisted of an interdisciplinary group of scientists, and its secretariat has been part of the Cancer Registry of Norway since day 1. The aim has been to describe the occurrence of thyroid cancer in Norway, investigate etiological aspects and publish results.
