The opportunities and challenges for community college faculty teaching dual enrollment programs

Abstract: In this article, the authors articulate program challenges and opportunities that typically accompany dual enrollment participation and offer suggestions for how community college faculty can maintain the academic rigor of a college class, whether they are teaching dually enrolled students on a traditional college campus or within the halls of the high school environment.
