The parameter estimation algorithms based on the dynamical response measurement data

Abstract: This article studies the parameter estimation to the system response from the discrete measurement data. By constructing the dynamical rolling cost functions and using the nonlinear optimization, the gradient identification method is presented for estimating the parameters of the sine response signal with double frequency. In order to overcome the difficulty for determining the step size and deduce the influence of noises, the stochastic gradient identification method is derived to estimate the signal paramete… Show more

“…Moreover, the BSO-FF-RLS algorithm has better parameter tracking capability and higher parameter estimate accuracy. The identification method presented in this paper can combine iteration [37,38] and the data filtering methods to study the identification problems of linear, bilinear and nonlinear systems with different structure and disturbance noise [40][41][42]. Some mathematical skills [43][44][45][46][47][48] and statistical methods [49][50][51][52][53][54][55] can be used to study the performances of parameter estimation algorithms.…”

“…Time delays often exist in signal transmission and signal modeling [12][13][14][15][16] and control systems. [17][18][19] For example, in communication, the measurements are often obtained with time delay because of the transmission congestion; the communication networks between subsystems are often unreliable, which will introduce the communication delays.…”

“…System identification and parameter estimation methods have been used to model some dynamical systems [1][2][3][4] and signal models, 5,6 including some nonlinear systems. [7][8][9] Multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) systems are common in practical industrial processes because of complex structures and high dimensions.…”
