Abstract:Lung transplantations in humans have been performed for almost 50 years. However, allograft rejection, non-rejection diseases such as harvest/reperfusion injury, infection, drug toxicity, post-transplant lymphoproliferative diseases, and recurrent disease are still significant complications.
