This finding was in sharp contrast to the needs identified by Eaton and Daws (1987) and Gallagher et al (1992), and provides support for the adolescent-centred approach adopted by the latter. It suggests that training in interviewing should be made a priority in programmes for adolescents in order to reduce their considerable apprehension about the process.…”
