“…D.D.T. has been shown to be toxic to a variety of mammals, including rabbits, guinea-pigs, rats (Draize, Nelson, and Calvery, 1944;Smith and Stohlman, 1944;Cameron and Burgess, 1945), cows, sheep, horses (Draize et al, 1944), and cats (Lillie and Smith, 1944).
