Exploring the molecular, cellular and neural mechanisms underlying obesity, this issue highlights both exciting, novel research in the physiology of obesity (Lewis & Aldiss, 2022) and, state‐of‐the‐art reviews, whilst also highlighting the ECRs driving the field forwards.
