“…This special issue, the largest in The Journal ’s history, comes hot off the back of this series with all webinar speakers given the opportunity to submit a ‘symposium review’ alongside an open call for papers. Exploring the molecular, cellular and neural mechanisms underlying obesity, this issue highlights both exciting, novel research in the physiology of obesity (Lewis & Aldiss, 2022) and, state‐of‐the‐art reviews, whilst also highlighting the ECRs driving the field forwards.
