The Picturescue Movement: restoring photographs following the 2011 tsunami in Japan

Abstract: After the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami, volunteers participated in the recovery of lost photographs. This effort-which we call the Picturescue Movement-subsequently began to organise photograph restoration gatherings.
