The Portrayal of Protagonists with Communication Disorders in Contemporary Award-Winning Juvenile Fiction

Abstract: Twenty-six contemporary North American award-winning intermediate children's and young adult fictional books were identified that contained twenty-seven protagonists with communication disorders (CD).
