The potential mechanisms of cardiovascular calcification in patients with chronic kidney disease

Abstract: Based on current literature data, the important potential role of calciprotein particles, matrix vesicles, and extracellular matrix degradation in cardiovascular calcification mechanisms in chronic kidney disease (CKD) can be confirmed.
