Abstract: Background Accurate detection of lymph node (LN) metastases in prostate cancer (PCa) is a challenging but crucial step for disease staging. Ultrasmall superparamagnetic iron oxide (USPIO)–enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) enables distinction between healthy LNs and nodes suspicious for harboring metastases.
