The power of story: Understanding gendered dimensions of mobility among Tucson refugees

Abstract: The paper focuses on the power of a single story to bring the human contexts and circumstances that shape refugees' post‐resettlement lives to the forefront. Through an ethnographic example, the article brings attention to the lived experience of refugees and dismantles gendered tropes that are rooted in Western and white feminist theoretical frameworks.
