The Precautionary Principle Applied to Deliberate Release of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs)

Abstract: Deliberate release of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) may contribute to sustainable development, world food supplies and economic prosperity. On the other hand, environmental release may initiate serious, irreversible ecological damage.
