The Prevalence of dysglycaemia and other cardiovascular risk factors among first degree relatives of Irish patients with type 2 diabetes in Ireland

Abstract: Objectives: To assess the prevalence of diabetes, pre-diabetes and other cardiovascular risk factors amongst close relatives of patients with type2 diabetes. Methods: 100 participants aged between 25 and 75 years were recruited through their first degree relatives, who have type 2diabetes and attend Naas Hospital diabetes clinic.
