Abstract: telomere length than aortic segments. On the other hand, telomere length was shorter in aortic tissues which presented atherosclerotic lesions compared to corresponding tissues without atherosclerotic lesions. There was a negative correlation between pulse pressure and telomere length only in atherosclerotic tissues.
