Abstract:Background. Combination therapy with two antiplatelet agents (ticagrelor or clopidogrel plus acetylsalicylic acid) and a high dose statin is recommended in accordance with clinical guidelines for patients undergoing acute coronary syndrome and coronary intervention. Combined therapeutic regimens have drug-drug interaction potential.
