Abstract: Blood eosinophil is a promising biomarker for phenotyping patients with acute exacerbation of COPD (AECOPD). The low number of studies also meant we were unable to perform subgroup analysis, so the effects of prognostic factors such as blood eosinophil count and age were unable to be assessed [44].
