Abstract:The rapid progress in molecular medicine has sought to understand the molecular basis of human disease with an ultimate goal of developing rationally designed therapies. Pharmacogenetics and pharmacogenomics are the two recent developments to investigate inter‐individual variations of drug response. This article focuses on the issues related to pharmacogenetics and pharmacogenomics.
