Abstract:Cholangiocarcinoma (CC) is a highly lethal malignant tumor which arises from the biliary tract epithelium and is notoriously difficult to diagnose. Common risk factors for CC are primary sclerosing cholangitis, liver fluke infestation and hepatolithiasis.
