Abstract:Contrast-induced acute kidney injury (CIAKI) is a common complication with limited treatments. Intermedin (IMD), a peptide belonging to the calcitonin gene-related peptide family, promotes vasodilation and endothelial stability, but its role in mitigating CIAKI remains unexplored.
