The Purity of Isotopic Spin or Charge Parity States

Abstract: 722LETTERS TO in light nuclei; 6 if we take (2+), we have £2 radiation with (2/+l)r 7 = 250 or 1250 ev and (27+1) \M| 2 = 135 or 675, which seems improbable. (1-) is therefore the most plausible assignment ; it is made almost certain by the angular distribution of the alpha-particles (A. V. Cohen and A. P. French, private communication).
