The quality of life of people with rare inborn errors of metabolism and their caregivers

Abstract: Choroba dziecka, a zwłaszcza choroba wrodzona i przewlekła, stanowi wyzwanie dla rodziców i ma wpływ na jakość życia wszystkich członków rodziny. W pracy przedstawiono badania dotyczące postaw wobec diagnozy i terapii w rodzinach dzieci z wrodzonymi wadami metabolizmu. Omówiono także problemy i emocje wpisane w codzienne życie rodziców i pacjentów oraz wskazano priorytety i potrzeby rodziny na poszczególnych etapach rozwoju dziecka.
