Abstract:This paper studies how the activity of hydraulic excavators found in the Rosia quarry of Jiu affects the environment. For this study we chose the Caterpillar 323D L and 323 D LN hydraulic excavators. The study took place over a period of 30 days. These days we have collected data on the noise level and the level of PM 10 particles in the quarry.
