The purpose of this research; The aim of this study is to get the opinions of prospective teachers about the methodologies for improving the professional education of future biology teachers . This research was designed in accordance with the qualitative research method. The study group of the research consists of 50 biology teacher candidates studying at universities in Kazakhstan. The data collection tool of the research is the semi-structured interview form developed by the researchers. Research data were analyzed by descriptive analysis method. In this direction, in this research; In this study, it was aimed to get the opinions of prospective teachers about the methodologies for improving the professional education of future biology teachers . As a result of the research; The majority of future biology teachers who participated in the research stated that they found their professional self-efficacy and educational development somewhat adequate. The vast majority of future biology teachers participating in the research; While they stated that they found their personal development sufficient, they also stated that they found their field-specific development somewhat sufficient. As a form of implementing Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in educational institutions, an appropriate learning model is needed, which also accommodates aspects of spirituality. Before developing a model, baseline data is needed, so a broad-scale or national needs analysis is needed. This research aims to determine the profile of spirituality-based action competence for sustainability (ACS) among prospective biology teacher students throughout Indonesia. This research is a cross-sectional survey. The target respondents are students of LPTK biology education study programs in Indonesia. The target population size is 650 people, so based on the Krejcie and Morgan table, the minimum sample size with a confidence level of 95% and a margin of error of 5% is 620 students. The data collection instrument used in this research is the action competence for sustainability instrument based on spirituality (ACSIS). Data on respondent characteristics were analyzed using frequencies and percentages. The mean and standard deviation of scores were calculated for each item. Comparisons of two groups of students were analyzed using the Mann-Whitney U Test, while comparisons of more than two groups used the Kruskal-Wallis H Test. We discuss interesting findings in this research, including the aspects of spirituality in ACS among prospective biology teacher in Indonesia.

Developments in the 21st century in the field of education seek students to be able to think critically and be aware of environmental conditions. Phrases Think global, act local are sentences related to awareness of environmental conditions. The real form of the phrase think globally (think globally) is to develop a product in the form of an encyclopedia that contains information about biology, while the real form of the phrase act locally (act locally) is in the form of research conducted. The encyclopedia is a comprehensive collection of information on the morphology of the myrtaceae family in the collection of kebun raya banua. The purpose of this study is related to describing practicality. Development research model to improve and enhance previous products. Research development using Tessmer's formative evaluation design. Individual test (one to one evaluation), and small group test (small group evaluation). The personality test subjects (one to one evaluation) were three students who had taken plant morphology courses related to content practicality data, the small group evaluation subjects were four students who had taken plant morphology courses related to practical expectations data. The results of the development research show a practical encyclopedia
