The Readiness of Psychologists of the Educational System to Provide Crisis Assistance to Participants in Educational Relations (Using the Example of the Sverdlovsk Region)

Abstract

<p>The expansion of the list of tasks facing the psychological service of the education system at the present stage includes measures to improve the system of emergency and crisis psychological assistance. The ability to solve these complex tasks is largely determined by the competencies of specialists, their readiness for this type of activity. The article presents an analysis of the regional experience and readiness of psychologists of the education system of the Sverdlovsk region to provide crisis assistance. During the analysis of the results, it was found that, despite the system of crisis assistance that has developed in the region, most specialists working in educational organizations of the Sverdlovsk region have pronounced professional deficits and face difficulties in implementing crisis psychological support. The data obtained indicate the need to provide advanced training for specialists in crisis assistance.</p>
