The adaptation towards online learning raised questions on how nursing students use social media with their academic requirements. To ensure safety as they partake in online classes, the researchers conducted descriptive quantitative research to determine the level of Knowledge, attitudes, and practices toward social media use among nursing students at the University of Bohol (UB). A sample of 200 nursing students currently enrolled in the nursing program from levels 1 to 4 of the school year 2020-2021 was selected through random sampling. Questionnaires and consent forms were administered online. The study underwent an ethics review by the UB-Research Ethics Committee. The findings inferred that most respondents are highly knowledgeable about social media, had a moderately positive attitude towards social media use, and frequently practice it to complete their academic requirements. Findings revealed a significant relationship between the respondents' Knowledge and attitude, Knowledge and practices, and attitudes and practices. A conclusion was drawn that the respondent's level of Knowledge and attitudes, their level of Knowledge and practices, and their attitudes and practices were significantly correlated, respectively.

This research aims to examine students’ attitudes toward using ChatGPT as a learning tool using a quantitative approach with a descriptive study design. For data collection, researchers have developed attitude measures that utilize the ABC model, which encompasses three components of attitudes (affective, cognitive, and behavioral). The study was conducted among a random sample of 623 undergraduates who enrolled at the University of Jordan, consisting of 476 females and 147 males. The results of the descriptive statistics indicate that there is a high level of positive attitude toward utilizing ChatGPT as a learning tool. Furthermore, the findings confirm moderate affective and high behavioral and cognitive components of attitudes toward using ChatGPT as a learning tool among undergraduate students. A proportion of respondents (73.2%) agreed on the potential ability of ChatGPT to facilitate the learning process. In comparison, 20.7% of the study participants raised apprehensions regarding the precision of the data produced by ChatGPT, while an equivalent percentage (20.7%) reported feeling uncomfortable utilizing the platform; conversely, 14.6% of those surveyed acknowledged experiencing anxiety when unable to access ChatGPT’s services. The results of this study encourage decision-makers and educators at the University of Jordan to incorporate ChatGPT into curricula and instructional practices, considering student concerns and the risk of misuse.

The use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is the primary goal of the construction of a smart city, with the end goal being a more efficient management of urban resources such as electricity, public transportation, roadways, and wastewater management systems along with judicious use of resources and infrastructure. It is necessary for the technologies to make a contribution to the building of an inclusive society that has a high level of civic involvement and transparency. Therefore, it is vital to investigate the behavior of people, their motivation, incentives and the elements that impact the desire to use and the use of the communication technologies for the purpose of resolving day-to-day responsibilities and problems. We used the UTAUT model in addition to the structural equation modelling based on partial least squares (PLS-SEM). In the UTAUT model, these major contributors are Behavioral Intention and Use Behavior. The findings of this research will enable the authorities of Saudi Arabia to facilitate all of the processes of putting the smart city concept into action by increasing the population's involvement in the use of applications along with cybersecurity framework in all as-pects of day-to-day life.
