Purpose To develop the regression equation with the help of step wise method in linear regression. Material and methods In this study, 150 boy's gymnasts from National Sports Academy in Allahabad (India) (age 6+4 years; height 102+46; body weight 22+8) had participated and they provided informed consent before the testing procedure. Over Grip Hang on Horizontal Bar, Bridge up test, Leg Raise Forward, Front Split, Shuttle Run on Floor Exercise, Beam Walk Test, and Flexed Arm Hang on Horizontal Bar were selected as the testing variables and after using the liner regression analysis Results The equation was formed which estimates that Beam walk test, Shuttle run on Floor Exercise, Over grip hang on Horizontal, and Flexed arm hang on Horizontal bar account for 41% of the variation in the relation of dependent variables (Gymnastics Performance). Conclusion A thorough study of the factors that foster gymnast growth is essential since it is crucial in gymnastics to identify potential early in a player's career [16, 17, 22], for that extracted factors and gymnastics performance were selected to form the regression equation. The four variables selected to create the regression equation which explains 41 % of the total variability which is quite good and valid for estimating the Gymnastics Performance. Introduction Ground exercise is a high-level event of Chinese women's gymnastics. Maintaining the dominant strength of women's floor exercise in China has become one of the issues that coaches, athletes and gymnastics researchers should actively discuss. A research analysis on athletes’ competition in the National Games can better reflect and illustrate the fundamental level of athletes and their overall developmental status. Objective To verify the relationship between women's floor exercise skills and competition performance. Methods The analysis and study of 65 female athletes participating in floor exercises at the National Games was carried out. In this paper, the on-the-spot statistical method is used to perform statistics on the skills and the athletes’ completion in the four games. Movement training and choreography experts were consulted. Results The performance of women's floor drills in the National Games was discussed from three aspects: the difficulty and arrangement of movements, the initial score and bonus points, and the completion of movements. Conclusion Most athletes can adapt to the changes in the new rules and master many complex movements. This also gets them a higher score. However, the choreography of the athletes’ complete movements is relatively simple and lacks features. Strength training in the lower limbs should be the key to improving the athletes’ ability in floor exercise. Level of evidence II; Therapeutic studies - investigation of treatment outcomes.

Action quality assessment (AQA) tasks in computer vision evaluate action quality in videos, and they can be applied to sports for performance evaluation. A typical example of AQA is predicting the final score from a video that captures an entire figure skating program. However, no previous studies have predicted individual jump scores, which are of great interest to competitors because of the high weight of competition. Despite the presence of unnecessary information in figure skating videos, human specialists can focus and reduce information when they evaluate jumps. In this study, we clarified the eye movements of figure skating judges and skaters while evaluating jumps and proposed a prediction model for jump performance that utilized specialists’ gaze location to reduce information. Kinematic features obtained from the tracking system were input into the model in addition to videos to improve accuracy. The results showed that skaters focused more on the face, whereas judges focused on the lower extremities. These gaze locations were applied to the model, which demonstrated the highest accuracy when utilizing both specialists’ gaze locations. The model outperformed human predictions and the baseline model (RMSE:0.775), suggesting a combination of human specialist knowledge and machine capabilities could yield higher accuracy.
