“…Australian adolescents aged 12-18 years also showed a decline of PUFA and n-3 FA intake from 1995 to 2012 [19]. In line with these results, recent reports described that adolescents from developed countries did not meet the recommendations for PUFA or n-3 FA intake [12,33,34]. A previous study of Korean adults showed that PUFA intake increased steadily but was more prominent in n-6 FA intake than in n-3 FA intake [22].…”

To calculate the nutrient profile of the test meals, the nutritional composition databases of EuroFIR and Nubel were upgraded including the nutrient information directly from the specific test food labelling.…”

“…Food lipids are important in diets of infants and children, especially when digestive disorders occur such as exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI), as they supply metabolic energy and phospholipids, the main constituents of biological membranes (Briefel, Reidy, Karwe, & Devaney, 2004). Among lipidcontaining foods, dairy products are highly consumed by childhood population (Calvo-Lerma et al, 2019). Cheese is particularly rich in lipid and a good source of essential nutrients such as protein, bioactive peptides, vitamins and minerals (Walther, Schmid, Sieber, & Wehrmüller, 2008).…”
