The reliability and efficiency of power companies

Abstract: Abstract. One of the key indicators of heat supply organizations is the reliability of energy facilities. The index of reliability of heat supply organization is of interest to potential investors, to assess the risks of investing projects. We propose a method of determining the reliability of heat supply organizations with the use of SAW (simple additive weighting method). We are developing a versatile program and the analysis of heat supply organizations on the example of the Republic of Tatarstan. This crite… Show more

“…Per the IEEE 1159 standards, and as shown in [8,9], constant observation for power system fault detection is required at all times to guarantee system reliability. Therefore, many researchers have studied power systems generation and distribution in terms of detecting faults and improving efficiency [10][11][12][13][14]. In [8,15], about 70% of blackouts can be associated with power relay malfunction, which allows faulty tripping.…”

“…Therefore, per IEEE 1159 standards, continuous monitoring for voltage fault detection is required for fault detection and classification to ensure the reliability and energy conservation of electrical power systems as in [9,10]. As a result, many researchers have investigated power system faults and relay response in terms of generation, distribution, and load to determine the reliability and energy efficiency of the system as in [11]- [15]. In fact, in [9], accidental power and outages cause a significant capital loss where 70% of blackouts could be related to relay malfunction to define abnormality as shown in [16]- [17].…”

“…This estimation may include different approaches for improving an energy performance of buildings as geothermal heat pump [5] and energy performance of domestic hot water systems [6]. Housing and utilities infrastructure objects include building of kindergarten [7], residential buildings [8,9], district heating [10,11] and other objects. The thermal behavior of buildings changes from quasi-stationary [12] to dynamic [13,14].…”
