The Revival of the Bamboo Sector in India and Its Relevance to Sustainable Development

Abstract: Bamboo can serve as a mean to achieve the UN framed Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and spur sustainable development. It belongs to the grass family Poaceae (Gramineae) and becomes a significant part of forest ecology.
