The role of apoptosis during inflammation resolution in Lyme arthritis

Abstract: Experimental Lyme arthritis is induced by the infection of C3H mice with the spirochete, Borrelia burgdorferi, and is a valuable model to study the regulation of inflammation during bacterial infection.
