Abstract:Background:Evening Chronotype (ET) is associated with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) and dysregulation of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis. Arginine vasopressin (AVP), in conjunction with CRH, promotes the production of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH), thereby influencing cortisol (COR) secretion.
