The Role of Defensins in Non-Specific Protection of the Macroorganism from Infectious Agents in Inflammatory Diseases of the Mouth and Oropharynx (Literature Review)

Abstract: The purpose of the study was to analyze literature sources containing information about defensins, cysteine-rich cationic amphipathic peptides produced by circulating white blood cells and tissue cells.
