The Role of E-learning Experiences in Supporting Young Learners’ Literacy Development

Abstract

Traditional forms of in-class teaching are facing numerous challenges and have been publicly criticized for its disadvantaged features under different educational contexts. This phenomenon is particularly prominent in students' literacy development. With the emergence of different types of electronic learning (e-learning) and the integration of in-class technology (ICT), young learners are more likely to be benefited in the process of literacy development. Apart from enhancing students' academic experience, e-learning can also substantially improve their social and political wellbeing. The introduction of a brand new and creative pedagogical approach in use of various latest technologies can lead the contemporary teaching to the right track.
