The Role of Employees’ Performance and External Knowledge Transfer on the Supply Chain Flexibility

Abstract: In this article structural equation models are reported, which relate four latent variables associated with employee performance, knowledge transfer, and supply chain flexibility, which incorporate 17 observed variables. In addition, the latent variables are related through 6 hypotheses that were tested with data from 269 questionnaires applied to the maquiladora industry in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. Moreover, this model was executed in WarpPLS 6.0 software using the partial least squares technique to analyze the… Show more

“…When the receiver finds an expected knowledge complex, the chance of learning deteriorated (Flo ¨thmann et al, 2018). The convoluted data takes more energy and becomes a barrier to acquiring knowledge at a proper pace (Dı ´az-Reza et al, 2020). Therefore, designing simplified structures has been a concern in recent years, along with other data transformations in organisations.…”

“…When a receiver encounters an expected knowledge complex, the receiver’s probability of learning decreases (Flöthmann et al , 2018). Complex data consumes more energy and acts as a barrier to knowledge acquisition at the appropriate pace (Díaz-Reza et al , 2020). As a result, the design of simplified structures and other data transformations within organisations has been a focus in recent years.…”
