Abstract:Background:Increased inflammation is associated with alterations of lipid and lipoprotein metabolism. Recent studies suggest that MCPIP1 (Monocyte Chemotactic Protein induced Protein‐1) may have a role in maintaining normal metabolic balance by negatively regulating chronic inflammation.
