The role of multislice computed tomography in the diagnosis of coronary artery fistulas

Abstract: Bu çalışmada çeşitli nedenlerle çok kesitli bilgisayarlı tomografik anjiyografi incelemesi yapılan hastalarda koroner arter fistüllerinin sıklığı ile anatomik özellikleri araştırıldı. Ça lış ma pla nı: Ocak 2009-Temmuz 2015 tarihleri arasında kliniğimizde çok kesitli bilgisayarlı tomografik anjiyografi kullanılarak 26 hastada toplam 40 adet koroner arter fistülü retrospektif olarak incelendi. Etkilenen arterler ve fistüllerin yerleşim yerleri değerlendirildi. Bul gu lar: Fistüllerin 11'i (%27.5) sirkümfleks ar… Show more

“…However, its application is limited by its invasiveness and radiation exposure, and most patients without obvious symptoms are not willing to undergo coronary angiography. Although computed tomography angiography has high temporal and spatial resolution, making it an important method to diagnose CAF at present, 16,17 no cases of CALVMMFs have been diagnosed by computed tomography angiography. As a routine noninvasive screening method, Doppler echocardiography can reveal abnormal diastolic blood flow signals in the ventricle or myocardium of patients with CALVMMFs.…”
