Abstract:Vasculitis associated with antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (AAV) is a potentially dangerous autoimmune disease characterized by necrotizing inflammation of small blood vessels. In the pathogenesis of AAV, both innate and adaptive immunity are closely linked to neutrophil function.
