The Role of Orthogonal Polynomials in Tailoring Spherical Distributions to Kurtosis Requirements

Abstract: This paper carries out an investigation of the orthogonal-polynomial approach to reshaping symmetric distributions to fit in with data requirements so as to cover the multivariate case.
