Abstract:Pranayama, a controlled breathing exercise integral to yoga, has shown significant benefits for cardiopulmonary health. This review compiles recent studies on pranayama's effects on cardiovascular function, highlighting its role in reducing resting heart rate and blood pressure, thereby decreasing heart strain and helping prevent cardiovascular disorders.
